Hubble Bubble & Ghostly 1 Mile
Hubble Bubble & Ghostly 1 Mile is a Halloween themed running event organised by Its Grim Up North Running at the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, Wyther Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3BT. The races are Trail Running Association licensed and use a flat, scenic out-and-back canal route.
Distances offered include:
- Ghostly 1 Mile Fun Run family friendly
- 10K
- 10 Miler
- Half Marathon
- 20 Miler two 10 mile laps
- Marathon two half marathon laps
- Ultra Marathon
The course is marshalled and signed, with feed and drink stations approximately every three miles. The event operates as a cup-less event so participants should bring a reusable bottle or cup. Finishers receive a bespoke Halloween medal and there are sweet treats and spot prizes for best fancy dress.
Access notes: the nearest station is Headingley. There is no parking at the start and the organisers recommend using the Morrisons car park nearby, which is a short walk from the canal. Car sharing is encouraged.
Safety and event rules include no over-ear headphones; bone conducting or one-in-one-out earbuds are permitted. Some road crossings are unmanned so extra care is required.
