Swinsty & Fewston Lakeside Dash

Event overview

Its Grim Up North Running stages the Swinsty & Fewston Lakeside Dash at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park, North Lane, Otley. The main trail is a 6.7-mile reservoir loop around Fewston and Swinsty Reservoirs. The route follows woodland paths and off-road tracks with undulating elevation and displays autumn colours. The course is fully marshalled and signed.

All races are TRA-licensed. Terrain is described as well-maintained trail paths. Feed and drink stations are available at approximately every 3 miles. The event operates as a cup-less event; participants are asked to use a reusable cup or bottle. Road shoes are recommended. Over-ear headphones are not permitted; permitted options are bone-conducting headphones or one-in, one-out in-ear use. There may be unmarshalled road crossings on the route.

Facilities include public toilets in the car park. Parking is pay-and-display next to the registration area and council parking charges may apply. Transfers and deferrals can be completed online by participants; an admin fee of £5 may apply if the organiser processes a change.
