Swinsty & Fewston Lakeside Dash takes place on 7 November 2026 at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park, North Lane, Otley, LS21 2NP. The main route is a 6.7-mile reservoir loop around Fewston and Swinsty Reservoirs on woodland and off-road trails. The course is described as undulating with well-maintained trails, fully marshalled and signed, and TRA-licensed (Trail Running Association). Feed and drink stations are provided at roughly three-mile intervals. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race food.

Logistics and rules

Public pay-and-display parking is located next to the registration area and public toilets are available in the car park. The event operates as a cup-less event; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle for aid stations. Over-ear headphones are not permitted; acceptable options are bone-conducting headphones or one-in, one-out in-ear use. There may be unmarshalled road crossings on the route. Entries have age limits: the 10km is open to those aged 16 and over; the half marathon to those 17 and over; the 20-mile and marathon to those 18 and over. Entry fees vary by distance, from about £23–£41 depending on the event. Transfers or deferrals can be self-served online; a £5 fee may apply if the organiser processes a transfer.
