Hartington, United Kingdom • 2 Nov 2025

The TFG Cheese & Crackers Trail is a mountain-style trail run held in Hartington, Peak District, finishing at Hartington Village Hall. Runners choose between two waymarked courses: 8.4km (135m ascent) or 16.4km (290m ascent). The atmosphere is relaxed, with a small-group waved start to suit both newcomers and seasoned runners.

The routes traverse varied terrain with scenery across Beresford, Wolfscote and Biggin Dale; the longer option adds extra Wolfscote Dale miles and a climb to the Tissington Trail for expansive views. After finishing, participants enjoy hot drinks, snacks and a complimentary goodie bag with local cheddar, crackers and port. Open to 18+, run under UKA rules and TRA licensing.
