The Bell & Harp Chase

The Bell & Harp Chase takes place on Saturday 18 July 2026 at the Bell & Harp pub in Little Eaton (Whittaker Lane, DE21 5AE), set in the Derbyshire Dales. The event uses the same route introduced in 2025, starting and finishing at the pub.

The course covers 7.5 km of mixed terrain. The organiser describes the route as well defined and undulating over mixed surfaces. A mapped course is available on Strava. Free car parking is provided at the venue.

Entry is open from 17 February 2026 until 17 July 2026. The minimum age for entrants is 18 on the event date. The published entry fee is £15 and entries listed so far total 49 participants. The event includes chip timing, a 45 plus category, and a range of prizes. Winners are recorded on a bespoke artisan plaque introduced by the organiser.
