The Stone Circle Marathon & Half
The Stone Circle is a full and half marathon around Gargrave in North Yorkshire that passes through Yorkshire Dales scenery and visits the Broughton Stone Circle. The event uses a looped course with the half marathon comprising one loop and the full marathon two loops.

The route is multi-terrain, including fields, footpaths, canal towpaths and a short section of country roads. There are three refreshment stations per loop offering a variety of snacks and drinks. Finishers receive a sustainable medal and post-race recovery refreshments include Yorkshire tea, home-made cakes and chips provided by The Frying Yorkshireman. Facilities at the start and finish include toilets, refreshments, changing facilities and bag storage.
The races are volunteer run, ARC registered and non-profit. Timing is provided by OpenTracking and first aid cover is in place. Entry requirements state that participants must be healthy and capable of completing the course; the full marathon requires entrants aged 18 or older and the half marathon requires entrants aged 17 or older. Entry fees are listed as £30 for the full marathon and £22 for the half. Funds raised support attendance at the World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk 2027.
