Petzl Halloween Night Runner Delamere Forest

Round 1 of the Petzl Night Runner Series is held at Delamere Forest with Event HQ and the start and finish located at the main Visitor Centre (Delamere, Cheshire, CW8 2JD). The event uses a night trail format and carries a Spooky Halloween fancy dress theme; fancy dress is actively encouraged.

The route is fully marked with reflective directional signs. The course is mainly well established trail but includes some potentially muddy or slippery sections. Runners must carry a good quality head torch or a hand held torch to light the route. Good quality trail or fell shoes with an aggressive tread are recommended. As the event occurs in winter conditions, warm clothing and a wind or waterproof jacket are recommended.
