The Grim Reservoir Dogs is organised by Its Grim Up North Running and takes place on 7 November 2026 at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir Car Park, North Lane, Otley, LS21 2NP. The event is offered as part of a multi-day series with the option to take part on a single day or on multiple days.

Participants follow looped routes around Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs on mainly off-road, well-maintained paths through woodland and alongside water. The course is described as undulating with wide trails and clear signage, and it is fully marshalled.

Facilities and race features include feed and drink stations approximately every 3 miles, a bespoke race medal for every finisher, dog rewards such as doggy treats, and public toilets on site. Registration is located at the reservoir car park and parking is next to registration in a pay-and-display public car park; council parking charges may apply.
