Eshton Moor, formerly known as Gargrave Cross Country, is a scenic 5-mile cross country race organized by Wharfedale Harriers in Gargrave, North Yorkshire. The course features an out-and-back route along the Pennine Way, traversing undulating fields, Eshton Moor, a river crossing, and woodland near Calton, with a total climb of approximately 550 feet. The race begins with a gentle climb before following the Pennine Way and includes a challenging return climb over Eshton Moor. It welcomes runners from juniors (U9 to U17) to seniors, with entry fees of £2 for juniors and £5 for seniors. A scenic but challenging 9 km fell race around reservoirs and hills of the South West Pennines from Marsden Cricket Club. Expect boggy ground, 313 m of climb, a flagged marshalled route, minimum kit and hot food at the finish.

Run scenic looped trails around historic Kirkstall Abbey, following riverside paths, woodlands and towpaths with distances from 8.8 miles up to an ultra. Expect varied terrain, friendly marshals, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

Run Leeds MoRun at Roundhay Park on 23 November 2025 with 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and half marathon options on a scenic but hilly park and trail course. Chip timed and dog friendly, every finisher receives a medal and headband with spot prizes.

Tackle the Black Night Scar fell race in Todmorden, a challenging evening run of 5.8 km with 315 m ascent under head torch light. Finish at the Hare and Hounds pub for refreshments and prize giving; pre and on day entry welcome.
