Eshton Moor, formerly known as Gargrave Cross Country, is a scenic 5-mile cross country race organized by Wharfedale Harriers in Gargrave, North Yorkshire. The course features a 550ft elevation gain and follows an out-and-back route along the Pennine Way track to the woods near Calton. Runners experience undulating fields, a gentle initial climb, river crossing, and woodland terrain before returning the same way, including a climb back over Eshton Moor. The event welcomes juniors and seniors, with entry fees of £2 for juniors and £5 for seniors. Perpetual trophies are awarded to Wharfedale Harriers members, celebrating competitive achievements on this beautiful, challenging course.
