Hoofs, Horns and Paws Charity Run

The Hoofs, Horns and Paws Charity Run is a timed event held in Manchester. Participants run along an out and back course that follows the River Mersey within Chorlton Water Park. The route consists of a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) lap on an off-road riverside towpath.

The course is flat with very little elevation gain or loss. This event follows a flexible format where participants choose their own distance by completing as many or as few laps as they wish within a 7-hour time limit. Available distances include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra Marathon

The event is held at Hardy Farm, which serves as the race headquarters. Facilities on-site include toilets and changing rooms. Parking is available for 75 cars at Hardy Farm on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional parking located at Sale Water Park and around Chorlton Water Park.

A well-stocked aid station is provided throughout the day, featuring a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options such as bananas, dates, sweets, and cake. All profits from the event are distributed to Save The Rhino and other local charities. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
