Linacre Infini Trail Race

The Linacre Infini is a timed trail endurance event located at the Linacre Reservoirs near Chesterfield. The course is set within a wooded valley featuring three reservoirs. The event follows a lapped format where participants aim to complete as many circuits as possible within a 6-hour time limit.

The route consists of a 5 km lap that utilizes well-maintained trails and footpaths. As the course is situated in a valley, it includes some climbing sections. The route is fully marked for participants.

A checkpoint is located at the start and end of each lap, offering water, squash, and cola, alongside a variety of sweet and savoury food options.

The event base is located at Woodnook Lane, where car parking is available for a fee. Medical cover is provided on the course and at the race headquarters. Every finisher receives a medal, and prizes are awarded to the male and female participants who complete the highest number of laps within the allotted time.
