Trail Running calendar near Winchcombe 2026-2027

A point to point trail running event in Surrey with **62K**, **41K** and **20K** routes plus two and three leg relay options. All distances finish in Godalming with a serviced event village and post race hospitality.

A 5 km obstacle event at War Memorial Park on 23 May 2027 where participants climb, crawl and slide across mixed grass and path terrain; entrants must be 13 or older and a minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.

Northampton hosts 5 km, 10 km and junior races on Sunday 23 May 2027 at Sixfields Stadium. The start and finish are inside the stadium and the course continues on closed roads around Northampton.

A 10 km trail run at Marlow Rugby Club, part of the Ales & Trails series, on mixed off-road terrain beside the Thames, with medal, pint cup and a free Rebellion drink at the finish. The event was listed as full.

A guided trail half marathon around the Surrey Hills, about 13 miles from St Martha's Hill in Guildford, following parts of the North Downs Way and notable viewpoints. The run is social in format with a guided pace and evening options.

A multi-stage event at Dare Valley Country Park where runners complete five Pure distances within 24 hours, with separate and combined results. Distances include 5k, 10k, 50k, half marathon and marathon.

A fully supported trail running event in May 2027 along the way-marked Heart of Wales Line Trail from Llandrindod Wells to Craven Arms, offered in **50 miles**, **26 miles**, and **16 miles** distances.

Three trail races (50, 26, 16 miles) follow the final sections of the Heart of Wales Line, finishing at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, with baggage transfer and varying checkpoint support by distance.

A multi-distance trek and trail event from Richmond to Brighton on 29-30 May 2027, with covered rest stops, GPS tracking and camping options. Distances include 100 km, 50 km, 25 km and other options.

An 86 mile point to point trail race along The Ridgeway National Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon to Avebury Stones, with eight checkpoints, GPS tracking, a 28 hour time limit and a 150 runner field.

A 60 km point to point ultramarathon on the Ridgeway National Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon to Ridgeway View Campsite, with about 1000 m of ascent, four checkpoints, open tracking and a 150 runner limit.

A 24 hour off road trail event on *5 mile* loops offering Solo, Pair, and Team entries. The site includes camping, parking, caterers, and illuminated routes for night running.

A last-runner-standing backyard ultra at Far Coley Farm on 4 June 2027: hourly 4.167 mile loops on mixed trail until one runner remains, with an on-site village, limited accommodation, and crew facilities.

A Star Wars 50th Anniversary weekend on 5 and 6 June 2027 at Caldecotte, Milton Keynes featuring marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake, unique finisher medals, on-course water and toilets, and time limits for each race.

The Beyond Bristol Ultra will take place in Bristol city centre on Saturday 5 June 2027. You can run between 25 and 55 kilometers.

A 5k obstacle course at Royal Windsor Racecourse with mud obstacles to climb, crawl and slide, mixed tarmac and grass surfaces, staggered wave starts and a minimum age of 13. Earlybird entry prices and a fundraising target apply.

A 5 km obstacle course at Prospect Park in Reading where participants climb, crawl and slide across grassy slopes and woodland. Waves run every 15 minutes and the event is open to people aged 13 and over.

A 5k muddy obstacle course at Willen Lake with staggered wave starts, on-site toilets and parking, blue badge parking nearby, and a fundraising target of £50. The event is not wheelchair accessible.

Derby Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle course at Markeaton Park with climbing, crawling and sliding across mixed terrain. It is for participants aged 13 and over and includes a fundraising element, a kit pack and a finisher medal.

Backyard Ultra at Chilton Manor Farm on 5 June 2027 features a 6706 m loop run each hour until one runner remains, with weekend camping, on route water stations, event camp facilities and medical support.
