Harewood Trail Festival
The Harewood Trail Festival is a 24 hour endurance running event held on off road forest loops of 5 miles. The event offers entries for Solo runners, Pairs, and Teams, with on site camping, parking, and caterers. Routes are marked for night running with illuminated or glowing sections.
Solo runners may run continuously, take regular breaks, or sleep for a period while the overall clock continues to run. Solo entries without a crew have designated privileges including a tent area nearer the start and finish, hot water available throughout, and a Solo Bag Drop area for keeping essentials close.
Pairs must keep only one runner on the course at any time. Pairs commonly alternate laps and sometimes one partner will run multiple laps during the night to allow their teammate to rest. Awards are given to the top three Male, Female, and Mixed Pairs.
Teams also allow only one runner on the course at a time. Teams are split into Small Teams of 3 to 5 members and Large Teams of 6 to 8 members. Special awards are presented to the top three Male, Female, and Mixed Teams in each category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
