The Fox : Surrey trail event

The Fox is a trail running event in the Surrey countryside on Saturday 23rd May 2026. The event includes multiple distances and uses local fields and village halls for race starts and the common finish. Course marking will be in place and aid stations are provided at regular intervals.

  • 20K - starts at Merrist Wood College, Worplesdon.
  • 41K - starts at West Clandon Village Hall.
  • 62K - starts at Burys Field, Godalming.

All three distances finish at Burys Field, Godalming. The overall cutoff is 11 hours, with rolling cutoffs at each aid station. Minimum entry ages are 17 for the 20K, 18 for the 41K, and 20 for the 62K. The event references the ITRA Performance Index, a ranking tool for trail runners on a scale up to 1000 points.
