Blended’s Backyard Ultra is a backyard ultra-format trail event held at Chilton Manor Farm, Chilton Candover, Hampshire (SO24 9TX). The 2026 event date is Saturday 6th June 2026, with campground and registration open from Friday 5th June 2026. The event is a Bronze Ticket approved race within the Global Backyard Ultra Community and held on private land. The organisers received a Race Check Silver Award in 2024.

Route

The course is a loop that starts and finishes on the northern edge of Godsfield Copse and passes the Bugmore Hill trig point. One lap is 6706 m and has an overall elevation gain/loss of approximately 120 m. Surface types include field sidings, woodland paths and some gravel track. The route is waymarked and may be subject to change.

Format and rules

Competitors run one lap per hour. Each lap distance equates to about 4.16666 miles and must be completed in less than one hour; any remaining time within the hour is available for recovery. There is no predefined finish. The last runner to complete a loop is the winner; other competitors are recorded as DNF.

Camp and support

Camp facilities include camping for one tent or van (Fri, Sat and Sun nights), a fuel station at the event camp, water stations on route and at camp, toilets, hot water for drinks, hot food available for purchase, 24/7 medical support and race timing.
