Backyard Ultra - Chilton Candover

Blended Trails runs a Backyard Ultra on private land at Chilton Manor Farm, Chilton Candover, Hampshire. The event is listed as full and sold out for the stated date. Campground and registration are available from the day before the event and camping is offered for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for one tent or van.

The event uses the backyard ultra format. Runners must complete a lap of 4.16666 miles in less than one hour and then start the next lap at the top of each hour. There is no predefined finish; the last runner to complete a loop is recorded as the winner and other competitors are marked as DNF.

The route climbs toward Bugmore Hill trig point and follows woodland trails, field sidings and sections of gravel track. One lap has approximately 120 metres of elevation gain and loss. Route details are subject to change.

Event camp facilities include a welcome drink on arrival, on-site registration, a well stocked fuel station, water stations on route and at camp, toilets, hot water for drinks, event photography, race timing and 24/7 medical support located next to the start. Hot food is available to purchase at the Yard Cafe. The event offers a bespoke finisher medal, a Blended Backyard badge and a one-off winner prize valued at £100.
