Blended's Backyard Ultra at Chilton Manor Farm

Blended's Backyard Ultra takes place on Saturday 5 June 2027 at Chilton Manor Farm, Chilton Candover, Hampshire. The event uses a single marked trail loop of 6706 m that starts and finishes on the northern edge of Godsfield Copse and passes the Bugmore Hill trig point. The route runs through woodland and rural paths, with sections of field sidings and gravel track. One lap has approximately 120 m of elevation gain and loss.

The race follows the backyard ultra format: participants must complete 4.16666 miles in less than one hour, repeating the lap each hour for as many hours as they can. Each completed lap allows the remaining time in that hour to be used for recovery. There is no predefined finish; the last runner to complete a loop is the winner and other competitors are recorded as DNF.

Event facilities include an event camp tucked into the edge of Godsfield Copse on private land, camping for one tent or van across the weekend, a well stocked fuel station and food offerings at the Yard Cafe, water stations on route and at camp, toilets, hot water for drinks, event photography, and bespoke finishers medals and badges. The organiser provides event safety, medical support and race timing near the start. The event is ticketed as a Bronze Ticket Event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
