Backyard Ultra - Chilton Candover

This Backyard Ultra takes place on private land at Chilton Manor Farm near Chilton Candover, Hampshire. The route is a measured loop of 6706 m (about 4.16666 miles) that starts and finishes on the north edge of Godsfield Copse and passes the Bugmore Hill trig point. One lap has approximately 120 m of elevation gain and the underfoot conditions include field sidings, woodland paths and sections of gravel track.

The event follows the Backyard Ultra format: participants run the loop in less than one hour, then use any remaining time to recover before starting the next lap. There is no predefined finish; the last person to complete a lap is declared the winner.

Campground and registration are scheduled from Friday 5th June 2026, with the main event on Saturday 6th June 2026. Camping is included for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for one tent or van. Event facilities at the camp include a fuel station of food and drink, water on route and at camp, toilets, hot water for drinks, 24/7 medical support and race timing. Photography and bespoke finishers items are provided and a one-off winners prize is listed at a value of £100.

The venue is described as secluded on the edge of Godsfield Copse with views over the surrounding rural Hampshire landscape. The route is subject to change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
