Blended Trails hosts a Backyard Ultra at Chilton Manor Farm, Chilton Candover, Hampshire (SO24 9TX) on Saturday 6th June 2026. Campground and registration open from Friday 5th June 2026. The event is a Bronze Ticket approved race within the Global Backyard Ultra community and received a Race Check Silver Award in 2024.

The format uses repeated one-hour laps. Each lap is 4.16666 miles (run in less than one hour); runners complete a new lap at the start of each hour and continue until only one runner completes a lap. There is no predefined finish; the last person to complete a loop is the winner and other competitors are recorded as DNF. There is a one-off winner prize valued at £100.

Route and facilities

The main loop is listed as 6706 m and starts and finishes on the northern edge of Godsfield Copse. The route passes the Bugmore Hill trig point, reaches Godsfield Copse as the highest point, and features mixed terrain including field sidings, woodland paths and sections of gravel. Elevation gain/loss per lap is approximately 120 m. The route is marked and subject to change.

Event camp facilities include exclusive access to private trails, camping for one tent or van (Fri, Sat and Sun nights), a welcome drink on arrival, a well stocked fuel table and water supply, toilets, hot water for drinks, hot food available to purchase at the Yard Cafe, event timing, and medical and safety support.
