London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge

The event is a long distance trail challenge running from Richmond upon Thames toward the Brighton coast. Route options include multiple distances and formats offered on a single weekend event for around 2,000 participants.

The route crosses the North Downs through Surrey and Sussex countryside to Turners Hill as a midpoint. The full 100 km route continues over the South Downs before reaching the Brighton coastline. The start is at Richmond upon Thames. Camping is provided near the halfway area for two day options and there are transfer services between key venues.

Support on route includes covered rest stops approximately every 12.5 km with major stops every 25 km. Rest stops have marquee cover, catering, seating, changing rooms, and medical and massage teams. The event uses a signed route with many markers and glow sticks at night and a GPS tracking app with timing scans at rest stops to log progress.

Food and drink are supplied at regular intervals with meals around every 25 km and snacks every 12.5 km. Finishers receive a medal, a T shirt, a glass of fizz and an official event certificate. A 7 hour lap-based time challenge along the River Thames at Wraysbury with flexible self-paced distances from 3 km up to 50 km, signed course, aid stations, medals, goody bags including vegan options, and distance pins for longer efforts.

A 100 mile continuous Thames Path race from Richmond to Oxford, mostly on groomed trails and riverside paths. The route gains about 1 900 ft, includes aid stations and mandatory kit checks, and must be completed within 30 hours.

A guided 30 mile trail run near Guildford on 2 May 2026 that follows parts of the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way. Led by an experienced ultra runner and coach, it includes Leith Hill, a kit list and an end of run alcohol free beer.
