The London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge takes place on 23-24 May 2026. The route runs from Richmond (Richmond-upon-Thames) to Brighton, finishing at Brighton Racecourse, and includes countryside across Surrey, the North Downs, and the South Downs. The full continuous route is approximately 100 km with about 1,500 m of climb; a two-day daylight option is offered with an overnight midway stop at Turners Hill (Tulley’s Farm). The event offers dedicated categories for rapid runners (Trailblazerz®) and brisk walkers aiming timed targets (Ultra March®). Registration is open and there are self-funding and charity-funded entry options.

The event provides rest stops approximately every 12.5 km, larger marquee stops every ~25 km, catering (meals and snacks), medical and massage teams, route signing with GPS tracking via an app, timing scans at rest stops, camping packages near the halfway point, shuttle transfers, and finishers’ items including a medal and T-shirt. Winter Downs 200 is a 200 mile continuous trail loop in the South of England, weaving five classic long trails into a scenic but demanding winter adventure. Runners have 96 hours to finish with live tracking and full aid station support.

UTMB Index

Celebrate the season with MV Festive Orienteering at Buchan Country Park on 14 December, exploring woodland trails around the lakes. Courses for all levels, family friendly and every finisher gets a warm drink and mince pie.

Run a 5 mile night trail through Friston Forest and downland under a head torch, finishing with a festive medal and a drink. Fancy dress and a prize add seasonal fun, this is more adventure than race.
