Trail Running calendar near Taunton 2026-2027

A Tuesday night charity fun run in early September raising funds for Weldmar Hospice. It features roughly 2K and 5K routes at Grove Farm Estates with entry on the night and no water station.

A four day coastal festival in Hope Cove combining trail races, sea swims, swimrun events, camping and live music. Distances range from 1K kids runs to the Summit Wild Ultra with family friendly sessions like forest school and yoga.

A **30 mile** ultra run from Studland Bay around the Isle of Purbeck with about 4600 ft elevation. The guided coastal route uses the Purbeck Way and South West Coast Path and passes Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Swanage and Old Harry Rocks.

A series of runs at Westonbirt Arboretum in Sept 2026 and Feb 2027, offering distances from 1 mile to half marathon on solid forest paths, with marked courses, feed stations, event medals and age‑based entry rules.

A point to point 50 km ultramarathon between Ramsbury Brewery and Renegade Brewery across woodland trails, canal towpaths and country lanes. The course is mostly off road with four aid stations and a nine hour cut off.

Trail marathon and half marathon in North Hampshire on 05/09/2026, with climbs to 280 m, scenic countryside routes, marked courses, aid stations and chip timing. A Military Cup allows serving units to compete as teams.

A riverside running festival on 6 September 2026 with 10 km, 5 km and a family fun run. Chip timing on multi terrain routes, canicross options, basic on site facilities and medals for all finishers.

Scenic runs in Warminster Town Park include 10K, 3K and a new 1.2K family event suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. The event supports Warminster Carnival and awards medals to all finishers.

A roughly 13(ish) mile TRA licensed trail race around Corfe Castle Common and the Purbeck coast on 06 September 2026. The event includes four water stations a 3 hour 30 minute cutoff and awards trophies plus a finisher t shirt.

Trail runs of 2 km, 5 km and 10 km through the Coln River valley near Coln St Aldwyns and Bibury on 06 Sep 2026. Routes are mostly on trail with on-course refreshments and a post-race BBQ, with proceeds supporting the school.

A single hill fell race over a classic horseshoe route to Waun Fach covering 11.2 km and 610 m ascent, based at Dinas Castle Inn with marshals, first aid cover and a maprun variant for solo or paired efforts.

A community trail race in Epney, Gloucestershire covering approximately 10 miles (16 km) along the canal towpath and local footpaths. The course is predominantly flat and includes marshals, an aid station and a GPX route file.

Coastal running from Exeter to Babbacombe Downs with 50k, marathon and half marathon options; cupless format, marked coast path, cut-offs, and a bespoke medal plus a warm pasty at the finish.

A 10th edition, 10.5 mile trail race on southern Dartmoor around Ryder's Hill and the Red Lake Volcano. The route features rocky and boggy terrain, river and Clapper Bridge crossings, and about 650 m of ascent.

Run as far as you like at Alice in Runderland, a timed multi lap event at Parc Taf Bargoed with flexible start times and on course support. Choose from one lap up to marathon and earn a bespoke finisher medal.

A 5.25 km off road fell race on Dartmoor with 276 m ascent, starting and finishing at Sourton Village Hall. The course requires self navigation with compulsory checkpoints and includes separate marked junior races and category prizes.
