Sourton Tor Race and Series Prizes
The race uses a revised, slightly longer course with increased uphill sections and a different start. It is the final race of the summer series. The event is based at Sourton village hall, next to the church, EX20 4HN. There is parking and an unusual pub nearby.
Juniors may take part. The minimum age is eight and parental permission is required on the entry form. Juniors over 13 may enter the senior race under FRA rules.
Runners under 13 have separate races on a marked route that runs up the hill and back and is described as easy to navigate.
Distances for junior races:
- 2 km for under 11s
- 3 km for under 13s
Entry on the day for juniors is £1, including juniors who run in the senior event. Senior entry is £6.50 with an FRA discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
