Inflatable 5K : Exeter, Devon (Saturday 15 August 2026)

The Inflatable 5K in Exeter is an outdoor inflatable obstacle course event held on Saturday 15 August 2026. The course is formed from repeating 2.5k laps; participants can choose from the following distances:

  • 2.5k with 15 obstacles
  • 5k with 30 obstacles
  • 10k with 60 obstacles
  • 15k with 90 obstacles

The 5k layout includes 30 giant inflatable obstacles after the addition of three new obstacles for this edition. Five music zones are placed around the course. The event is untimed and intended as a social, family friendly activity. Every participant receives a finisher's medal, a goodie bag at the finish, and a refreshing drink. There is event photography, medical cover, toilets on site, and an on-course water station.

Entry categories specify adults aged 16 and over and children aged 5 to 15 who must be accompanied by a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children to one adult. Spectators may use designated spectator areas free of charge. Dogs are not permitted. On-site facilities include food and drink vendors. A mostly flat, multi terrain race of about 4 miles around Dawlish Warren with beach, sea wall and coastal footpath sections. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a complementary ice cream.

An eight hour timed challenge on a 5.3 km out and back route along an old disused train line near Bridestowe. Turn up within a morning to early-afternoon window and complete as many laps as allowed to earn a medal.

A circular mixed terrain event around Exeter with a 14.2 mile Green Circle half marathon and a 9 mile Yellow Zone option. Both races start together and the course passes valleys and parks along the River Exe.

An eight mile trail on the South West Coast Path around Goodrington with coastal and woodland sections, Race HQ at Youngs Park, and a three hour cut off; finishers receive a bespoke medal and a treat.
