South Hams Relay

South Hams Relay is the inaugural 100 mile team relay held in South Devon on 19 July 2026, with Borough Park in Totnes listed as the event location. The course is divided into 16 legs, intended to show scenic countryside and coastal views along rolling roads.

The event is a team relay with teams of 10 to 16 runners. Legs vary in length to suit different runners, and full GPX files are provided for all legs. Start times are staggered to accommodate different team paces. Entries are limited and local clubs receive priority.

Entry rules and logistics include a minimum age of 18 or older and a team entry fee of £160. Entries open on 21 January 2026 and close on 11 July 2026. Every runner receives a goody bag.

Prizes are awarded for the fastest all female team, fastest all male team, fastest mixed team, and the team with the closest estimated finish time. The event raises funds for two local charities: South West Coastal Path, focused on protecting and enhancing the coast path, and the Can-Active Programme, which supports people through and beyond cancer treatment. All event profits will be donated to these causes.

The organisers describe the event as designed by runners, for runners, drawing on their experience of delivering relays elsewhere to provide a runner-centred experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
