South Hams Relay - 19 July 2026

The inaugural South Hams Relay is a 100-mile team relay held in South Devon, based at Borough Park in Totnes. The course is divided into 16 legs that showcase coastal and countryside sections and uses a mix of rolling roads and scenic routes. Organisers with experience delivering relays in the Midlands and Norfolk developed the event and provide full GPX files for each leg.

Teams consist of 10 to 16 runners. Leg distances vary to spread the distance among team members and accommodate different abilities.

  • 16 legs covering the full 100-mile course
  • Leg distances from 5 km to just under 16 km

Entries are limited and local clubs are given priority. Entry opens on 21 January 2026 and closes on 11 July 2026. The minimum age to enter is 18 on the event date. The entry fee is £160 per team. Every participant receives a goody bag.

Awards are offered for fastest all-female, fastest all-male, fastest mixed teams, and for the team with the closest estimated finish time. All event profit will be donated to two local charities: the South West Coastal Path and the Can-Active Programme. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
