Event Overview

The South Hams Relay is an inaugural 100-mile team running event scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Borough Park in Totnes. The entry fee is £160 per team, with entries open from January 21, 2026, and closing on July 11, 2026. Participants must be 18 years or older on the event date.

Route and Format

The course is a 100-mile relay split into 16 individual legs. The leg distances vary, including:

  • Just under 16 km

The route passes through scenic countryside and coastal areas of South Devon. It is a team event for 10 to 16 runners. Start times are staggered to accommodate different team paces. Full GPX files for all legs are provided to participants. Entry is limited, with priority given to local running clubs.

Entry and Awards

Every participant receives a goody bag. Awards are presented in several categories:

  • Fastest all-female team
  • Fastest all-male team
  • Fastest mixed team
  • Closest estimated finish time (allowing any team to win a trophy)

Charitable Impact
