Plymouth Pretty Muddy 5k : Central Park, Plymouth

Plymouth Pretty Muddy is a 5 km obstacle event organised by Cancer Research UK at Central Park, Plymouth (PL2 3DQ) on Sunday 19 July 2026. The course mixes hardstanding, fine gravel pathways and a majority of grass that can be thick underfoot; the start is on hardstanding and the finish on grass.

Participants climb, crawl and slide around a series of obstacles. Waves start every 15 minutes to manage numbers on the course and marshals are available to assist at obstacles. The event is open to people aged 13 years and older at the time of the event.

Facilities on the main event site include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs, and dogs are not allowed. Blue Badge parking and accessible drop-off options are available near the site. Rail, bus and cycle access are described for the venue; Milehouse Park and Ride is cited as a nearby free car park about 150 m from the start.

Entry prices shown are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support materials and a Race for Life medal at the finish. A coastal multi terrain 10 km loop near Menabilly and Fowey on 27 May 2026. The marshalled course includes steep climbs, coast path sections and steps, with a share of proceeds supporting St Austell Foodbank.

A timed off-road challenge from HMP Dartmoor where participants choose a route on public rights of way and aim for the greatest straight-line distance in 6, 12, or 24 hours. All entrants carry GPS trackers and receive a medal.

Muskie Madness is an unmeasured 10k multi terrain race on 31 May 2026 at Marine Academy Plymouth. The course mixes on road and wooded trail sections and the venue offers showers, bag drop, food and water stations.
