Looe Summer Run
Looe Summer Run on 28 July 2026 is a 5.75 mile multi-terrain event that starts and finishes at the Millpool Centre in West Looe. The course follows the West Looe riverside, runs through Kilminorth Woods along the upper bridle path to Trelawne Woods, then descends toward the Looe Estuary to return on the lower path.
The route includes an out-and-back section of around three miles into the woods. The course has not been professionally measured. Organisers plan to use chip timing. A road closure has been applied for at the start and finish.
Practical details: there will be no changing facilities or bag drop. Participants are asked to park at the Millpool car park and collect race numbers at the Millpool Centre, where the start line will be located. On-the-day entries are at the discretion of the event organiser.
Awards and entries: a memento will be given to all finishers. Prizes are listed for first male and first female overall, and for the first local (Looe) male and female. There are no age category prizes. The event is organised by Looe Lions Club, with all profits going to Looe Lions local charities. Minimum entry age is 14.
