The event is a 5.75 mile multi-terrain road and trail route on the West Looe riverside and through nearby woods. The course follows West Looe riverside, proceeds through Kilminorth Woods along the upper bridle path to Trelawne Woods, then descends toward the Looe Estuary and returns along the bottom path.

The race starts and finishes at the Millpool Centre, West Looe, opposite the Millpool car park. Parking is available at the Millpool Carpark. There will be no changing facilities or bag drop. On-the-day entries may be accepted at the organiser’s discretion. The minimum age is 14 or older. Entry fee is £12.50 and entries are open from 24 March 2026 to 26 July 2026.

Organisers plan to use chip timing for the event. The course has not been professionally measured. A perpetual Challenge Cup is awarded to the first club to have its first four runners across the finish line. Prizes are listed for first male and first female overall and for first Looe male and first Looe female. Age category prizes are not offered. A memento is provided for all finishers. A coastal running event on 19 July 2026 between Harlyn Beach and Padstow supporting Padstow Rowing Club. Races include a 10.5 km and a half marathon with personalised bibs, medals for all, and free race photography.

Pretty Muddy 5k in Central Park, Plymouth on 19 July 2026 is a mud obstacle course of climbs, crawls and slides over hardstanding, gravel and grass. It raises funds for cancer research and is open to participants aged 13 and over.
