Looe Summer Run

Looe Summer Run is a multi terrain road and trail event over a distance of 5.75 mile. The course starts and finishes at the Millpool Centre in West Looe, opposite the Millpool car park. The route follows West Looe riverside, continues through Kilminorth Woods along the upper bridle path to Trelawne Woods, then descends toward the Looe Estuary and returns along the bottom path of the woods.

The event is organised by Looe Lions Club and takes place on a Tuesday evening. Entries open on 24 March and close on 26 July; the entry fee is £12.50 and the minimum age is 14 on the event date. On the day entries are allowed at the discretion of the event organiser. All profits are donated to Looe Lions local charities.

The course is described as mild multi terrain and has not been professionally measured. A perpetual Challenge Cup is awarded to the first club whose first four runners cross the finish line. There are prizes for first male and first female overall and for first Looe male and female. There will be no age category prizes. There are no changing facilities or bag drop.
