Exeter Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter. Participants climb, crawl and slide over a route that uses a mix of road, tarmac pathways and grass with the start and finish on a tarmac path within the showground. The course follows paths and fields around the showground.

The event is open to people aged 13 and over; a separate Pretty Muddy Kids programme exists for children aged 12 and under. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry fees listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on crossing the finish line.

Travel and access information notes parking is available within Westpoint with a drop off point and Blue Badge parking. Electric vehicle charging points are not available and there are no bike racks. Pedestrian access from the A3052 is via the Orange Gate and local buses 9 or 52 serve Westpoint as a request stop; the nearest mainline station is Exeter St Davids, about 6 miles away. Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. The site is not wheelchair accessible, not suitable for pushchairs, and dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. A guided countryside run from Bovey Tracey to Lustleigh and back, about 10.5 miles with roughly 2000 ft of ascent. The route follows paths and lanes via Shaptor Down and Gladstone Rock; trail shoes and a waterproof are recommended.

Experience the rugged beauty of the South West Coast Path in South Devon with three distance options. Runners follow a hilly multi-terrain course from Kingswear or Babbacombe to a scenic finish at Shaldon.

A multi terrain seven mile race at Kilmington Cricket Ground on 25 April 2026, with a 4 km option and a 1 km fun run for children. The undulating route passes roads, woodland and fields and offers on-site refreshments and a water station.

An LDWA members only event of three roughly 10 mile loops from Leusdon Memorial Hall, offering 10, 20 or 31 mile options across moor, woods and tors. Numbers are limited and a waiting list may operate.
