Phoenix Running - Devon: The Green Phoenix

The Green Phoenix is Phoenix Running Devon's first Exeter event, scheduled for 8 August 2026. The event starts at Exeter Quayside and follows an out-and-back route along the Exeter Canal path past the Double Locks pub.

The course is a lap of 5.3 km (3.28 miles) along a mix of hard trail and concrete footpath. The route is flat with no elevation. Participants may complete as many laps as they choose within the event format. The minimum distance is one lap (3.28 miles) or as far as a participant can go within a 7 hour time limit.

Entry options include affiliated and unaffiliated rates, and a lower-priced no medal entry that excludes the physical medal but includes event support, an aid station, same-day results, athlete profiles, digital bibs, and digital finisher certificates. Places are limited to 50 runners and there is no on-the-day entry.

The event operates a flexible rock up and run start policy and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance. UK Athletics age-related distance restrictions apply for participants aged 20 or under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
