Ivybridge 3 Tops : 15 August 2026

Ivybridge 3 Tops is a fell race on Dartmoor and part of the Dartmoor Fell Series, organised by Erme Valley Harriers. The senior course is approximately 10 km with about 450 m of climb and follows moorland tracks, trods and off‑piste sections. The route has been agreed with landowners and DNPA and will include mandatory checkpoint marshals to reduce erosion. Part of the entry fee is allocated to erosion management funds for Harford and Ugborough Moors.

Race headquarters and registration are at the rugby club, with parking at the railway station and a short walk to the start on the edge of the moor at grid reference GR 654569. The senior race finishes back at the rugby club. Competitors should take care crossing the main road on the way to and from the start and on the final mile. The course contains steep hills, tussocky ground and stream crossings; suitable fell footwear is recommended.

There is a cut off at Scad Brook, about 3 miles into the course, set at 60 minutes; marshals will transport runners who fail to meet this time back to race headquarters. The event is held under the rules of the Fell Runners Association, race classification BS. Senior entry fees are stated in the organiser information and limited places are available.

Junior races have a minimum age of 6. Distances:

  • U10 about 1.5 km
  • U12/U14 about 2.75 km
  • U16/U18 about 5.5 km

Post race refreshments will be available at the rugby club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
