Tapyard Ultra 50km
The Tapyard Ultra is a 50 km point to point ultra running event held on Saturday September 5th 2026 between Ramsbury Brewery and Renegade Brewery. The route is multi terrain and provisional maps show woodland trails, paths, canal towpaths and country lanes. The running direction alternates each year; for 2026 the start is at Ramsbury Brewery and the finish at Renegade Brewery.
The course is fully signed, with chip timing, live tracking and medical backup. Total elevation is 340 m and about 75% of the route is off road. There are four checkpoints spaced at roughly 10 km intervals. The race has a 9 hour cut off.
Included for entrants are a medal, race mementoes, a free drink at the finish bar, free race photos, prizes, toilets, feed stations and post event massage. Checkpoints provide cola, water, energy drinks and snacks. Personal nutrition drops are offered and can be delivered to the third and fourth checkpoints.
A pre event shuttle bus is available so participants can park at the finish and be transported to the start. Race organisers will provide a GPX file one week before the event. Mandatory kit includes a fully charged phone, a foil blanket and a full 500 ml bottle or vessel for fluids. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
