Tapyard Ultra 50km

The Tapyard Ultra is a point-to-point 50 km ultra run held on 5 September 2026 between Ramsbury Brewery and Renegade Brewery. The route for 2026 starts at Ramsbury and finishes at Renegade; the running direction alternates each year. The course covers mixed surfaces including woodland trails, paths, canal towpaths and country lanes, with about 75% off-road and approximately 340 m of elevation.

The course is fully signed and uses chip timing with free live tracking. Four checkpoints lie at roughly 10 km intervals; they provide water, cola, energy drinks and sweet and savoury snacks. Personal nutrition drops are accepted and can be placed at the third and fourth checkpoints. Other on-course and event services include feed stations, toilets, medical backup, prizes, post-event massage, and free downloadable race photos. Entrants receive a medal, mementoes and a free drink at the bar.

Logistics information notes a pre-event shuttle bus option that allows parking at the finish and transport to the start. A GPX file for the course will be provided one week before the event. The event enforces a 9 hour cut off time. Mandatory kit requirements include a fully charged phone, foil blanket and a full 500 ml bottle or vessel for fluids; recommended items include a waterproof jacket, cup and a method of payment.
