Something Wild Festival - Hope Cove, Devon

Something Wild Festival is a multi day outdoor event held on a farm field site overlooking Hope Cove, Kingsbridge, Devon. The festival centres on coastal and countryside trail running routes that include sections of the South West Coast Path and views across the Avon and Salcombe estuaries.

The site contains a separate camp village and festival village. The campsite accommodates up to 100 tents, offers parking and is suitable for camper vans. Onsite facilities include extra compost toilets, warm showers and two venues for speakers and evening music. A cafe and bar on site sells locally brewed beer, non alcoholic drinks, vodka, gin and cocktails. Communal meals and fireside live music are programmed in the evenings.

Events span a range of distances and formats, including night runs, road and trail distances, swim runs and a sea swim at South Milton Sands near Thurlestone car park. There are also children’s races, local food and movement sessions such as yoga, massage and functional movement classes. A forest school runs on Saturday and Sunday with separate tickets or as part of weekender camping tickets for families. Organisers plan to add further FAQs and event details in the lead up to the festival.

A multi distance event along the Two Moors Way across Devon, featuring a 112 mile non stop coast to coast ultra plus 75 km, 100 km and marathon stages. Participants navigate the waymarked route with live GPS tracking and checkpoint support.

A guided countryside run from Bovey Tracey to Lustleigh and back, about 10.5 miles with roughly 2000 ft of ascent. The route follows paths and lanes via Shaptor Down and Gladstone Rock; trail shoes and a waterproof are recommended.

Experience the rugged beauty of the South West Coast Path in South Devon with three distance options. Runners follow a hilly multi-terrain course from Kingswear or Babbacombe to a scenic finish at Shaldon.
