Westonbirt Arboretum Summer

Relish Running Races stages a series of runs at Westonbirt Arboretum with events in September 2026 and February 2027. The programme includes a mix of distances and a separate night 10km event in February.

Distances

  • Half Marathon
  • 10 km
  • 5 km
  • 1 Mile Fun Run

Most routes run on solid stone forest paths and are largely very flat with a few small rises. Courses are comprehensively marked and marshalled; route maps and GPX files are published. Runners are started in waves of about 150 and may select a wave when they register.

Feed and support vary by distance: there are no drinks stations on the 5km, one feed station on the 10km, and three feed stations on the half marathon. Feed points and finish lines offer water, electrolyte where appropriate, and a mix of food including gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. A medical team is present on course.

Medals are 10 cm by 10 cm, full colour on both sides, with separate ribbons by distance; the February races share a medal design distinct from the September race. Group discounts apply for entries of 10 or more runners. Parking at Westonbirt is limited; advance registration affects arboretum entry charges for runners and spectators on certain dates. Buggy runners are permitted; canicross is not allowed. On-day prize giving is not held; prize winners are contacted after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
