The 2 km steeplechase fun run follows undulating grassy fields and includes hay bale hurdles, two crossings of a feature called the “dip of doom,” and a final incline referred to as “heart break hill.” The 5 km and 10 km routes climb out of the valley then follow gently undulating grass pasture; the 10 km splits at about 3 km to form a figure-of-eight route that reaches Bibury and passes Arlington Row cottages. The routes are waymarked and reported to be about 95% on trail. A water and jelly-baby station is provided on route.

Age recommendations are given: 2 km for all ages (U7s are recommended to be accompanied by an adult), 5 km recommended 11 or over unless accompanied, and 10 km recommended 16 or over. Facilities include parking on fields adjacent to the River Coln, toilets, a BBQ and cakes at the finish. Entry fees vary by distance and include discounted rates before 31 May.
