About the race

The 12Ks of Christmas is a 12 km trail run through the local woods around Dursley, Gloucestershire. The route leaves Leaf & Ground and follows woodland trails around Stinchcombe Golf Course, then goes onto the golf course itself before continuing over additional hills and paths to a halfway point at 6 km. The course finishes at Dursley Rugby Club, which also serves as race HQ, registration area and car park. The event includes chip timing, a fully marked route, and an event team with first aid and marshals.

At the 6 km checkpoint runners are offered mince pies and mulled wine. Finishers receive a zero waste log slice medal, and there is a covered rest area at the finish. Toilets are available for male, female and disabled users.

Parking is available but limited. Fancy dress is encouraged but not mandatory, and offensive costumes are not allowed. Entrants must complete a race waiver before registration and follow the race rules given in the briefing. The event is organised by Gert Lush Events and will support the charity Bigmoose; mandatory entry items will also be collected for GL11 Foodbank.

This edition takes place on 12 December 2026 and is described as the inaugural running of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
