Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash
The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash is a festive community 5 km off road event at the Tinkley Gate National Trust site in Woodchester on 6 December 2026. The event aims to attract up to 250 participants to raise funds for Allsorts, a local charity that supports children and young people with additional needs and their families.
Participants may run, jog or walk the course and are invited to wear festive clothing if they wish. Examples allowed include full Santa or elf costumes, Christmas jumpers, antlers, Santa hats or a small amount of tinsel over regular running kit. Dogs are permitted on a short handheld lead, limited to one dog per runner or walker.
Age and lap restrictions are set for safety: under 11s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be at least eight years old on the day; under 12s may take part in a single lap only, covering a maximum of 2.5 km.
Event facilities include a music area at the event hub and the Tinkley Gate café, which will be open before and after the event for hot drinks, bakes and snacks. Parking is available in the National Trust car park; parking is free for National Trust members and costs £3 for non members. Entry price is listed at £17 GBP.
