Trail Running calendar near Studland 2026-2027

The Black To The Trails will take place in Filton on Sunday 11 October 2026. You can run between 5 and 10 kilometers.

A scenic 10 mile multi terrain race around Colyton with about 80% off road, river and woodland sections, steep climbs and a finishers medal. The event includes cupless water stations, category prizes and a three hour cut off.

The Blackdown Hill Challenge on 18 October 2026 is a trail running event from Fernhurst Recreation Ground to the Temple of the Winds, featuring a 866 ft climb and wide views. A shorter adult trail of about 4.5 km is also offered.

A hip-hop themed coastal run at Milford on Sea with mixed terrain and coastal views. Runners choose distances from 5 km to ultra-marathon, completing 5.3 km out and back laps with an aid station and themed medal.

Mendip Muddle is a 20 km multi terrain fell race in Somerset with about 420 m of climbing. Headquarters are at Charter House Outdoor Activity Centre; on course water and first aid are provided and prizes are awarded by category.

Routes along the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton include Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k options on hard packed gravel towpaths. The event is cupless so runners must carry their own water and finishers receive a bespoke medal.
