The White Horse Gallop

The White Horse Gallop is a roughly 12 km off road race held on 18 October 2026. The course runs along bridle paths and across the Imber Range and passes close to the Westbury White Horse. It is listed as Race 3 of the Wiltshire Off Road Race League.

Prizes are awarded to first, second and third male and female finishers and in veteran categories V40, V50, V60 and V70 for both sexes. A bespoke medal is provided to all finishers.

Facilities include toilets, two water stations, first aid cover and refreshments available to purchase. The event is fully insured. Car parking at Leighton Recreation Centre BA13 3PT is limited; there is a pay and display on Warminster Road opposite the petrol station BA13 3PE which is about a ten minute walk to the start. Competitors are asked to be courteous to residents and consider car sharing.

Entry is restricted to runners aged 16 years or older on the day. Headphones are not allowed and may lead to disqualification; dogs are not permitted. Places are limited to 200 and entries are open until 1 October 2026 or until the limit is reached. Entry fees are £23 affiliated and £25 unattached. Hazelbury Hurrah! is a multi terrain running event in Corsham on 10 July 2026 with a main six mile course and a 2 km junior race. The race is Trail Running Association licensed and supports local charities.

Teams of three race from the Packhorse pub to a Midford cider farm and back over an off road route, collecting and carrying a full barrel. Fancy dress is compulsory and prizes include fastest teams and best costume.

A 10 km trail race around Stoke Park in Stapleton, Bristol, organised by Town and Country Harriers. The marked course has steep climbs and natural obstacles, entry is for those aged 18 and over, and half the proceeds go to a local charity.

A farm based 24 hour solo running challenge in Dorset on 17 July 2026 with camping available over the weekend. Multiple timed events and shorter runs are scheduled and finishers receive a medal and event goodies.
