The Maverick Dark Hampshire Gravel 2026
The Maverick Dark Hampshire Gravel is an evening lap-based trail event held at Alice Holt Forest, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham (GU10 4LS) on 31 October 2026. The course uses a 5 km lap; participants can complete one, two or three laps to cover differing distances.

The route runs on wide tracks and tree-lined avenues through ancient woodland. There is one outpost on each lap offering a range of sweet and savoury snacks and Precision Hydration fuel and electrolyte. Outposts will not provide pre-filled cups; participants are asked to carry a reusable cup or bottle for self-serve water barrels.
Event services listed for participants include free parking, a marked and fully timed course, outposts, online results, event photography, bag drop and a metal finishers medal. Food and drink will be available at the finish area and fire pits will be present.
Operational and safety notes: headphones are not permitted so participants can hear marshals and traffic; dogs are not allowed; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Recommended items to bring include a headtorch or chest torch, phone, trail shoes, raincoat, foil blanket and a refillable water bottle or running pack.
