Stockland Scamper 2026

Stockland Scamper returns in 2026 as a multi-distance trail event organised by Ruby Red Events on behalf of Ruby Red Running CIC and the Stockland Primary Academy PTA. It takes place in Stockland near Honiton in East Devon on 18 October 2026 and uses lanes, footpaths and farmland around the village.

The event includes three routes:

  • 10 km Stockland Scamper
  • 5 km Stockland Scuttle
  • 3 km Stockland Scurry

The terrain is multi-terrain and can include mud, river crossings and hills. Trail shoes are highly recommended and participants are asked to consider weather when choosing clothing. A water station is provided on the 10 km course only.

Age guidance follows the national associations. The 10 km is open to those aged 16 or over on the day, the 5 km has a minimum age of 12 on the day and the 3 km is open to any age. Entry fees differ by course and by affiliated or non affiliated status, and limited entry on the day will be available with a small surcharge.

Event HQ is Stockland Village Hall EX14 9EF, located between the A35 and the A30. There is some parking nearby which may require up to a ten minute walk to race HQ. Facilities at the hall include toilets, a bag drop left at participants own risk, refreshments and cake made by the PTA, and a children’s play area. Route maps and GPX files are provided. The event will be licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
