Shave Cross Mini Marathon
The Shave Cross Mini Marathon takes place on Saturday 1 August 2026 in the rolling hills around Shave Cross and Pilsdon in the Marshwood Vale. The event is based at Kittys Farm, Shave Cross, Bridport, Dorset DT6 6HW.
The race is a 5 mile undulating, hilly, multi-terrain route that follows country lanes and paths through fields and open countryside. The course offers a variety of surfaces and viewpoints across the local landscape.
Entry is limited to 70 runners. The minimum age is 12 years. Entries close on 01/08/2026. Entry fees are listed as Adult £10.00 and Under 16s £5.00.
Awards are presented to first male and female overall, first under 16, and first veteran male and female. Medals are provided to all finishers.
Organiser terms state that deferrals or transfers are not permitted and race numbers must be collected on the day. Refunds are not available for runners unable to race; refunds are provided only in the event of race cancellation.
