Brutal - Halloween at Hogmoor

This is an evening Halloween-themed run held at Hogmoor on a multi-lap loop course formed from former Army use and now public recreation land. The route includes short sandy hills, areas of mud and shallow water, and is scattered with oversized human statues. A playground is on site.

Distances are organised as laps of the same course:

• 3.3K kids race, children aged 10 and under must be accompanied
• 6.6K two laps for adults and youths
• 10K three laps for adults and youths
• 6.6K Canicross two laps for runners with dogs

Adults may run an initial lap with a child and then continue for a second or third lap if they choose. Medals are awarded to all finishers. Parking at the venue is free and refreshments will be available on site. Fancy dress is encouraged and participants are advised that the event takes place after dark so a torch or head torch is needed.

Entry categories note juniors as under 16 on race day, minimum ages are 13 for the 10K and 10 for the 6.6K, and age groups divide into Senior and Veteran for 39 and under and 40 and over respectively.
