BigHeat "Camp-FIRE" is a two-day trail running festival on the weekend of 18 and 19 July 2026. The event is the Fire-themed stop in the Classic Element Trail Series and is organised by BigFeat Events. All races start and finish at Mill Farm, Lurgashall, Petworth GU28 9ER. The weekend includes camping, yoga sessions, live music, food and drink stalls, showers, a wild sauna, massages and firepits.

Camping and accommodation

Campsite access is available from Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July. A standard camping pitch (one vehicle; up to two small tents or one large tent or one campervan) is £40 and includes access to showers and toilets. Premier glamping offers eight Bell Tents for two nights at £200; each tent sleeps four and includes mattresses and bedding.

Race services and requirements

Runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid during each run. The organisers advise downloading the GPX route file; courses are marked but can be tampered with. A bag drop tent will operate on both days. Cut-off times are: 12 km - 2.5 hours, 16 mile - 4.5 hours, Marathon - 7.5 hours, 50 km - 9 hours, LittleFeet 2 km - 75 minutes. Aid stations will provide water, flat coke and a selection of snacks including vegan options; the event operates as cupless. Precision Fuel & Hydration will supply PH 1000 electrolyte drink (1,000 mg sodium per litre). Runners can opt to have a tree planted instead of receiving a finishers medal. Trail running on 31 January 2026 at Hound House Road in Surrey with 10 km and 15 km routes over hilly mixed terrain. Parking, toilets and refreshments are available; entries close 29 January 2026.

Take on scenic South Downs trails at Queen Elizabeth Country Park with routes for every level. Choose 21.6 km, 15.2 km or 7.9 km trail runs or join canicross and hikes, organised by UK Running Events.

Guided 10 km trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl in Hindhead, with summer sunset runs and headtorch group night runs in darker months. Social pace, great views and the chance to try trail gear.

The Pilgrim Challenge will take place in Farnham from Saturday 7 February 2026 to Sunday 8 February 2026. You can run 66 miles.
