BigHeat "CAMP-FIRE"

BigFeat Events stages CampFIRE, a weekend trail running festival at Mill Farm in Lurgashall, West Sussex on 18 and 19 July 2026. The event is the Fire instalment of the Classic Element Trail Series and features single-lap routes that run through sun‑baked forests, dusty tracks and open sandy plains in the Surrey Hills and surrounding countryside.

Routes include sections of The Serpent Trail and pass locations such as Blackdown and The Temple of the Winds. Each route returns to an event village with camping, showers, a bag drop tent, yoga sessions, massages, a wild sauna, live evening music, food and drink stalls and firepits. Aid stations are fully stocked with sweet and savoury snacks, vegan options, water and flat cola; the event operates as a cupless event. Precision Fuel & Hydration supplies PH 1000 electrolyte liquid on course and two PFH gels at registration.

Distances and entry prices include:

  • 50 km Ultramarathon : £65
  • Marathon : £56
  • 16 mile : £42
  • 12 km : £32
  • LittleFeet 2 km Flower Trail : £10

Camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights; a standard pitch is priced at £40 and premier bell tents are available for two nights from £200. Runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid, are advised to carry appropriate clothing for changeable conditions, and are strongly advised to download the GPX route file. Cut off limits are set per distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
