BigHeat CampFIRE : Classic Element Trail Series

BigHeat CampFIRE is a weekend trail running festival on 18 and 19 July 2026 at Mill Farm in Lurgashall, West Sussex. It is the third event in the Classic Element Trail Series and is themed on the element Fire. The routes are single lap trail runs that pass along winding dusty tracks, sunbaked forests and open sandy plains and include sections on the Serpent Trail and through locations such as Blackdown and the Temple of the Winds. All races start and finish at the event village at Mill Farm.

The weekend programme includes on site camping and a small festival-style village with live music, food and drink stalls, yoga, massages, a wild sauna and showers. Camping options include standard pitches and a limited number of luxury bell tents with bedding and separate facilities. Standard camping includes access to shower and toilet facilities and a water point; no electric hook up is available.

Mandatory kit includes at least 500 ml of fluid carried by each runner and appropriate clothing for changing weather. Runners are advised to download the GPX file of their route. A bag drop tent will be provided. Aid stations will be stocked with snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke and will feature PH 1000 electrolyte drink from Precision Fuel & Hydration.
