The Maverick Dark Hampshire Gravel 2026

This evening trail event takes place in Alice Holt Forest, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham (GU10 4LS). Runners complete 5 km laps and may choose to run one, two or three laps of the loop through tree-lined tracks by head torch. Running with a buggy is permitted.

Distances and elevation gains:

  • 15 km with +194 m elevation gain
  • 10 km with +133 m elevation gain
  • 5 km with +69 m elevation gain

The course is fully marked and fully timed, with online results and event photography. There is one outpost per lap providing a range of snacks and Precision Hydration electrolyte; the event aims to be cup free so participants should bring a cup or bottle. Facilities include free parking, a bag drop area, food and drink for purchase, and a metal finisher medal.

Essential items listed by the organiser include a head torch or chest torch, phone, trail shoes, rain coat, foil blanket and water bottle or running pack. Headphones are not permitted. Online entry closes Wednesday 29 October 2026 at 11:00am and on-the-day entries may be available if the event is not sold out.
