The Wallop
The Wallop is a timed 21 km trail run held on the private Farleigh Wallop Estate in Hampshire on 28th Nov 26. The event is based at Grammarsham Dairy, with parking around the farm buildings and an event hub inside the barn where runners are welcomed and served hot drinks and mince pies. All finishers receive a bespoke sustainable medal.
The course is set entirely within the estate and uses woodland trails, gravel tracks and open country paths with canopy-covered sections and rolling terrain. The route follows the same layout used previously with only minor tweaks and will be published online with Strava and OS GPX files in the week before the event. Participants are asked not to access the route before race day.
Hydration is provided at cupless stations at the start and finish and at two points on the route, located at 6.5 km and 13.5 km at the bottom of descents with climbs afterwards. The event includes race timing, race photography, medics and marshals, and tail runners support with no overall cut off time. Toilets are available near the start and finish. Trail shoes are essential and participants should bring a water bottle, soft flask or collapsible cup. Parking is included in entry and there is no secure baggage area on site.
