Crawley Pretty Muddy 5k

The Crawley Pretty Muddy event is a 5 km obstacle course held at Tilgate Park, Crawley. The course runs on pathways around Tilgate Lake and the Nature Reserve with the start and finish on grass. Woodland paths include a few inclines, declines and uneven surfaces.

Obstacles require participants to climb, crawl and slide along the route. Start times are organised in staggered waves that begin every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. The event is for people aged 13 and over; there is a separate Pretty Muddy Kids option for younger children.

The main meeting point is on the western side of Tilgate (Campbell's) Lake, down the hill from Tilgate Playground. Parking options include Gainsborough Field (free), Lakeside Car Park (pay and display) and Tilgate Car Park (pay and display). There are nine accessible parking spaces in Tilgate Car Park; the route from that car park to the event site is approximately 240 m and is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance. Local buses serve the park and the nearest train station is Three Bridges.

Facilities available on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Organiser information and fundraising details are provided by Cancer Research UK. Minimum fundraising target and entry fees apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
