Crawley Pretty Muddy 5k at Tilgate Park

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Tilgate Park in Crawley. The start and finish are on grass and the route follows pathways around Tilgate Lake and the nature reserve. The woodland paths include a few inclines, declines and uneven surfaces. A course map is published but may be subject to change.

Obstacles require participants to climb, crawl and slide along the route. Start waves are staggered every 15 minutes to manage flow on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event.

Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available and the event is not suitable for pushchairs. The event is not wheelchair accessible; some accessible parking for Blue Badge holders is provided in Tilgate Car Park with an approximate 240 m route to the main event site that may require assistance.

Meeting point information places the start and finish on the western side of Tilgate Campbell's Lake, down the hill from Tilgate Playground. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and has a stated minimum fundraising target. Entry prices are listed for adults and children and are available for this event.
