Witterings Beach Run

The Witterings Beach Run takes place on the coast of West Sussex, utilizing the terrain of West Wittering beach. This location is a Blue Flag-awarded area known for its unspoilt sands. The route is set along extensive sandy flats that are exposed during low tide, providing a natural running surface for participants.

The event offers three different distances to accommodate various goals. Runners follow a coastal path that provides panoramic views of several landmarks, including Selsey Bill, the Isle of Wight, and the South Downs. The course also overlooks Chichester Harbour and the Solent. To support participants during the run, water stations are positioned along each distance.

The course is designed to be accessible for those gaining experience with trail running or those looking for a scenic environment. Upon completing the run, participants receive a finisher's medal and a drink. Additional finisher's goodies are also provided at the conclusion of the event.
