The Witterings Beach Run is a coastal running event held at West Wittering Beach, Pound Rd, West Wittering, Chichester (PO20 8AJ) on Sunday 1 November 2026. The route runs along the sands of the Blue Flag beach and offers panoramic views of Selsey Bill, the Isle of Wight, Chichester Harbour, the Solent, and the South Downs. At low tide the course uses extensive sandy flats as the running surface. The event is dog friendly and includes canicross categories.

Race details

Each distance has a published GPX file and recorded elevation gain (15.3 km +25 m, 10.0 km +17 m, 5.0 km +7 m). Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with 'Caution' signs. Water stations are provided on each route. First aid support is located at on-course aid stations and at the event centre.

Entries include a bib number, chip timing, a finisher medal, a personalised certificate, a drink, and finisher goodies. Participants collect bibs on arrival and must display them on the front. The event operates a plastic-free policy and asks participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle. One dog per runner is permitted. Parking is available via the West Wittering Estate.
