The South Downs Trail Run takes place on Saturday 8th November 2025 at Goodwood Racecourse, Chichester (PO18 0PS). The route runs within the South Downs National Park and offers distant views of the North Downs, Chichester Harbour and the Isle of Wight. The course starts and finishes at Goodwood and passes forest tracks, skirting Levin Down, follows the South Downs Way for a middle section, then heads downhill toward East Dean before a final climb back to Goodwood. The event is dog friendly and spectators are welcome. Finishers receive a metal medal, a finisher’s gift and a refreshing drink. A RunRebel merch tent will be on site.

Trail surfaces include forest fire roads, bridleways and single-track tree-lined trails. The course is signed with PINK arrows and PINK tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with 'Caution' signs. On-course support includes water stations, first aid at aid stations and chip timing. Recommended kit includes a mobile phone, reusable cup or bottle, suitable food and drink, and a rain jacket. For dogs, runners are asked to bring poo bags, water, treats and an appropriate dog lead.
