Overview

The South Downs Trail Run starts at the Goodwood Racecourse and takes runners through the South Downs National Park. The route provides views of the South Downs, North Downs, Chichester Harbour, and the Isle of Wight.

The Course

The route goes through forest tracks, passes Levin Down, and includes a section of the South Downs Way. It descends into East Dean before a final climb back to the finish at Goodwood. The trail uses a mix of forest fire roads, bridleways, and single-track paths.
