The ColyTEN

The ColyTEN is a 10 mile multi terrain race starting and finishing in Colyton. The course is approximately 80% off road and follows sections beside the River Coly before a short road run to Chantry Bridge and a return to footpaths. Runners cross the river and climb steeply through Ox Woods, descend Jobbles Lane, then follow the undulating woodland trails of Morganshayes. After leaving the woods there are about three miles remaining, mostly downhill or flat with roughly one mile on road, finishing with a lap of the playing field where finishers receive a medal, a drink and a flapjack.

Race headquarters are at the Peace Memorial Playing Fields adjacent to Colyton Football Club and provide registration, number collection and a bag drop plus on site toilet facilities. Numbers must be pinned to the front of the vest with personal details on the reverse. There will be two cupless water stations at about 2.5 and 7.5 miles and a three hour cut off time. Headphones are not permitted on the course. Limited parking is available on site, in Colyton town centre and in a field opposite Shiphay Farm which is about a ten minute walk from race HQ. Organisers are Axe Valley Runners in association with Colyton Football Club. A donation from proceeds will be made to Devon Air Ambulance.

Entries open 30 May 2026 and close 9 October 2026. Minimum age is 17. Entry fees listed are £20 affiliated and £22 unaffiliated with on the day entries if available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
