The ColyTEN is a 10 mile multi terrain race held on 12 October 2025 at Colyton Football Club, Peace Memorial Playing Fields, Colyton, EX24 6PU. The event is organised by Axe Valley Runners in association with Colyton Football Club. Entry fees are £18 for affiliated runners and £20 for unaffiliated runners. The minimum age is 17 or older. Entries open 31 May 2025 and close 10 October 2025. A 3 hour cut off time will be enforced.

Course and race facilities

The course is about 80% off road and starts beside the river Coly, a short walk from race HQ. The route includes a riverside footpath, a short road section to Chantry Bridge, a river crossing, a steep ascent through Ox Woods, a descent down Jobbles Lane, and undulating woodland trails through Morganhayes. After exiting the woods there are about 3 miles remaining, mostly downhill or flat with about 1 mile on road. The finish includes a lap of the playing field. There will be two cup-less water stations at about 2.5 and 7.5 miles. Race HQ opens at 08:00 for registration, number collection and bag drop. On-site toilets and refreshments are available. Numbers must be pinned to the front of the vest with personal details on the reverse. Headphones are not allowed. Limited parking is available on site, in Colyton town centre and in the field opposite Shiphay Farm. Prizes and memorial trophies will be awarded; a donation will be made to Devon Air Ambulance. A chip timed trail run along the South West Coast Path covering 22 miles with about 4,000 feet of ascent. Solo, relay and a Sidmouth to Seaton half course are offered, with checkpoints, baggage transfer and optional coach transport.

A guided countryside run from Bovey Tracey to Lustleigh and back, about 10.5 miles with roughly 2000 ft of ascent. The route follows paths and lanes via Shaptor Down and Gladstone Rock; trail shoes and a waterproof are recommended.
