Centurion Autumn 100 at Goring and Streatley
The Autumn 100 is a 100 mile continuous trail race based in the twinned villages of Goring and Streatley on the River Thames, scheduled for 17 October 2026. The course is formed of four separate 25 mile out and back spurs that use sections of the Ridgeway and Thames Path National Trails and converge at Goring and Streatley.
The route covers 100 miles (161 km) with approximately 5000 ft (1500 m) of elevation and a terrain mix of about 80% trail and 20% road. The course is marked by National Trail waymarkers plus Centurion reflective ribbons and arrows. Organisers note that during dry conditions the route can be flat and fast, though runners may face long periods of darkness and autumnal weather.
Support and logistics include 16 fully stocked aid stations, on-course medical support, drop bag access at miles 25, 50, 75 and 100 with a strict 30 litre limit, and a 28 hour overall cut-off. Pacers are permitted only from mile 75 for the final 25 mile leg and pacer handovers are restricted to race headquarters. Crews are not permitted.
Entry information includes a qualification requirement of a completed 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2021 and race day, entries opening 8 November 2025 and a variable entry fee for affiliated and unaffiliated runners. All finishers receive a Centurion 100 mile buckle with additional awards for time thresholds, overall placings and age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
