Autumn 100
The Autumn 100 is a 100 mile (161 km) continuous trail race based in the twinned villages of Goring and Streatley on the River Thames. The course follows four 25 mile out and back spurs that together form a cross shape, using sections of the Ridgeway and Thames Path National Trails. Total ascent is listed as 5,000 ft (1,500 m) and the official finish cutoff is 28 hours.
The route returns to Goring between each spur. There are 16 fully stocked aid stations along the course and dedicated race medical support. Aid stations on legs 2, 3 and 4 provide hot drinks and hot food is available at Goring. Drop bags may be accessed at miles 25, 50, 75 and 100 and must be under 30 litres.
Pacers are permitted from mile 75 on the final 25 mile leg only and must run the whole leg with the entrant; pacer handovers are allowed only at the race HQ in Goring. Crews are not permitted. The course is marked with National Trail waymarkers and additional Centurion directional markers, but navigation remains the runner's responsibility.
Entrants must meet a qualification standard of a completed 50 mile race within 15 hours between 1 January 2021 and race day. Entries open 8 November 2025 and close 28 September 2026. Entry fees are £220 for UKA affiliated runners and £222 for unaffiliated runners.
Mandatory kit must be carried at all times; required items include a charged mobile phone, minimum 1 litre water capacity, survival blanket, waterproof jacket with sealed seams, whistle, primary and backup lights, warm hat, gloves, a dry long sleeve layer and a cup. Finishers receive Centurion buckles with additional awards for sub 24 hour finishes, overall places and age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
