Trail Running calendar near Stanhope 2026-2027

A 29 km mountain Sky Race in Patterdale with 2050 m ascent across St Sunday Crag and the Eastern Fells. Technical Lakeland trails, checkpoints, GPS tracking and a post race soup make this a classic entry level sky race.

A semi technical 15 km trail around the base of Place Fell on the shores of Ullswater, held as part of the Helvellyn Sky Ultra weekend. The route features 680 m of ascent, a mid route aid station, manned checkpoints and a seed bomb finisher..

A 26 km trail Metric Marathon starting and finishing in Hebden Bridge. The out and back route passes Stoodley Pike, is waymarked with marshals and a water station, and includes a medal for all finishers.

A 10 km trail race at Northumberlandia that uses the landform and surrounding countryside, with a one mile childrens fun run, way marked course, water station, bespoke medal and on site event village.

Tackle 12.9 km of classic Pennine fell running with 610 m of climb around Turnslack. Friendly club atmosphere, on the day entries welcome, refreshments and prize giving in Calderbrook Church community rooms.

Join the Ravenscar Rumble revisited, a scenic fell race in Ravenscar on Wed 22 Jul 2026 covering 10 km with 250 m of climb through the North York Moors. Tea rooms stay open for post run treats and entry is on the day only.
