Alnwick Castle Trail Runs 2027

Alnwick Castle Trail Runs returns to Alnwick for trail races that start and finish by the River Aln beside Alnwick Castle. The routes pass through Hulne Park, the Priory and sections of the castle grounds, providing a mix of parkland and historic scenery. The event takes place at The Peth, Alnwick, NE66 2LA.

Distances offered include:

  • 10 km (age 15 and over)
  • Half marathon (age 17 and over)

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An exclusive event T shirt is available to purchase for £12. Free on site parking is provided for participants.

This event is not canicross friendly due to site restrictions. The organiser donates £4 from every entry to NE Youth.
