Alnwick Castle Trail Runs 2026

Alnwick Castle Trail Runs offers two trail distances that start and finish outside Alnwick Castle. The routes pass through Hulne Park, the Priory and parts of the castle grounds, using the castle setting as the main location reference. The event base is The Peth, Alnwick, NE66 2LA.

Live chip timing will be used and all finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, plus a snack and drink. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12 at registration. Free on-site parking is provided for participants.

The event is not canicross friendly due to site restrictions. Entrants must be aged 15 or over for both distances. Route maps are published for the 10km and the half marathon. The event supports NE Youth; £4 from every entry is donated to that charity, which delivers youth services and supports organisations working with young people across the North East.
