The Alnwick Castle Trail Runs take place on 15 March 2026 at Alnwick Castle, The Peth, Alnwick, NE66 2LA. The event offers two trail distances and starts and finishes outside Alnwick Castle. Routes pass through Hulne Park, Priory, and parts of the castle grounds. The site is not canicross friendly due to site restrictions.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a snack and a drink. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12 when registering. Free on-site parking is available for participants.

Entry fees and availability shown on the organiser page at the time of publishing were: Half Marathon £28.00 + fee (254 remaining places) and 10 km £25.00 + fee (261 remaining places). Registration opens 17 March 2025 and closes 18 March 2026. The event donates £4 from every entry to NE Youth, a regional youth development charity.
