Alnwick Castle Trail Runs 2027
Alnwick Castle Trail Runs offers two trail distances set around Alnwick town and the castle grounds. The route starts and finishes by the River Aln beside Alnwick Castle and passes through Hulne Park, the Priory, and parts of the castle grounds, providing several scenic sections over natural trails and estate land.
Event distances:
- 10km (age 15+)
- Half Marathon (age 15+)
Logistics are provided on site. Live chip timing is supplied by Timing Up North. Free on-site parking is available for participants. Canicross is not permitted due to site restrictions. Finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12. The event donates £4 from every entry to NE Youth, a regional youth development charity that supports young people and local youth organisations.
