SilverBackTrails Wade's Revenge

SilverBackTrails Wade’s Revenge is a trail running half marathon. The event takes place on Sunday, 22nd February 2026, in the North York Moors National Park. It starts and finishes at Levisham Village Hall, Main Street, Levisham.

The route is approximately 13.1 miles, taking in forest tracks, ancient pathways, sheep trods, open fields, wooded valleys, and expansive moorland. It passes through the Hole of Horcum, a natural amphitheatre. There is a 5-hour time limit. The event has a limit of 50 participants.

Registration opens at 08:00 with a race start at 08:45. Entry is £23.00. Entrants must be aged 16 or over on the day.

The event is listed as full with a waiting list. Mandatory kit includes a waterproof jacket with taped seams, hat/gloves, emergency bivvy bag, spare insulating top, charged mobile phone with maps, at least 500ml of fluid, emergency food, a working compass, and an OS map (Explorer 27 or Harvey's North Yorkshire Moors). Kit will be checked. Two checkpoints on the course will provide snacks and drinks. Tea, coffee, soup, and a roll will be available at the finish.

All finishers receive a bespoke medal. An optional event-specific technical T-shirt can be purchased. Parking is in Levisham village, with a £1 charge per car to be divided between the village hall and the national park. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead and will start after other participants.
