The venue is Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Scenic routes incorporate sections of the Deer Park, the Water Garden, and the abbey grounds.

The event is canicross friendly. One well controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North and results are recorded instantly. All distances have a three hour cut off time.

Take on the Cod Beck Canter on Sun 1 Feb 2026 in the North York Moors: a 16.5 km moorland route with 573 m of climb from Ingleby Cross Village Hall. Entry on the day, minimum age 18, promises tough terrain and great views.

A 75 mile winter two day route from Skipton to Appleby following Lady Anne's Way, with three major indoor checkpoints and vehicle points every 6 to 8 miles. The event is self supported and provides GPS tracking plus drop bag service.
