The venue is Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden in Ripon, North Yorkshire. Scenic routes incorporate sections of the Deer Park, the Water Garden, and the abbey grounds.

The event is canicross friendly. One well controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North and results are recorded instantly. All distances have a three hour cut off time.
