The Fountains Abbey Wild Trail Runs take place on Sunday 1 February 2026 at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden, Ripon, North Yorkshire. The event uses scenic routes that include sections of the Deer Park, the Water Garden, and the abbey ruins. Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. All distances have a 3-hour cut-off time. Parking is available on-site for participants and spectators. A custom event T-shirt could be added during registration for £12.00.

Distances and minimum ages:

  • 5 km Trail Run : ages 11 and over
  • 10 km Trail Run : ages 15 and over
  • Half marathon Trail Run : ages 17 and over
