Take the Fell - Trail run

Take the Fell is a trail running event at Beacon Fell Country Park, with Race HQ at the Beacon Fell Visitors Centre in Preston PR3 2ES. The event takes place on Sunday 7 March 2027 and offers two measured trail distances.

  • 20k

Both routes are fully signed and personal chip timing is used. Full event information, including route maps, is sent to entrants approximately one week before the event. Finishers receive medals and free race photos are provided. Food and drink are available on site in the form of pie and a hot drink.

Pre-registration is required to enter. Entry fees are set at £24 for the 10k and £30 for the 20k. Age limits apply: 10k entrants must be at least 15 years old on race day, and 20k entrants must be at least 17 years old. Due to the nature of the terrain there is a three hour cut off for the event.
