Trail Running calendar near Purleigh 2026-2027

A guided 30 km trail run through the Chiltern Hills near Tring with trail technique instruction, checkpoints, bag storage and a finisher's medal. Entry is limited to 50 participants and the route includes about 500 m of ascent.

Off road 10 km, 5 km and family runs at Milton Creek Country Park on 9 May 2027 supporting The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust. Varied trail terrain, route maps and event medals are provided.

A point to point trail event along the Suffolk and Essex coast offering 100 miles, 50 miles and 50 km options, mostly on soft trail. The route follows five estuaries, features regular checkpoints and issues GPS trackers for safety.

A 50 mile point to point on the North Downs Way from Farnham to Knockholt Pound, with 5,600 ft of climb and around 80% trail. The race has a 13 hour limit, six aid stations, no pacers or crew, and a 300 runner cap.

Race for Life at Weald Country Park in Brentwood features 3k, 5k and 10k routes across grass and woodland trails. The 10k is two laps of the 5k course and the event is chip timed.

Trail runs and walks near Reading at Mapledurham House on 22 and 23 May 2027, with waymarked routes along the Thames, multiple distances, support stations, online tracking and on site camping.

A 7 km cross-country fun run at Trenchmore Farm, featuring orchard and woodland trails, a relaxed farmyard social with food and music, and a free drink for every runner. Fancy dress is encouraged.

A track-based running event at Wodson Park offering distances from 5k to a 6 hour challenge, with chip timing, bespoke medals and aid stations on the track.

The South Downs will take place in Eastbourne on Saturday 29 May 2027. You can run 100 kilometers.

A multi-distance trail challenge from Richmond to Brighton with options up to 100 km, staffed rest stops, GPS tracking via an event app, camping at mid-point and finish-line kit including a medal and T-shirt.

Trail event at Hyde Hall Farm with a 5.3 km loop and multiple race options up to a 32 hour 100 mile challenge. The event includes an on course aid station, secure parking and finisher medals.

An 86-mile point to point trail race along the full length of The Ridgeway from Ivinghoe Beacon to Avebury Stones, with open tracking, a 28-hour time limit and aid stations spaced along the route; UTMB World Series index race.

A 60 km point to point ultramarathon along the Ridgeway National Trail from Ivinghoe Beacon to Ridgeway View Campsite near Wallingford, with open tracking, aid stations, route GPX and a runner guide.

A Star Wars 50th Anniversary weekend on 5 and 6 June 2027 at Caldecotte, Milton Keynes featuring marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake, unique finisher medals, on-course water and toilets, and time limits for each race.

A 5k obstacle course at Royal Windsor Racecourse with mud obstacles to climb, crawl and slide, mixed tarmac and grass surfaces, staggered wave starts and a minimum age of 13. Earlybird entry prices and a fundraising target apply.

A 5 km obstacle course at Prospect Park in Reading where participants climb, crawl and slide across grassy slopes and woodland. Waves run every 15 minutes and the event is open to people aged 13 and over.

A 5k muddy obstacle course at Willen Lake with staggered wave starts, on-site toilets and parking, blue badge parking nearby, and a fundraising target of £50. The event is not wheelchair accessible.
